“Work In Progress” Update For Poodle Ride Adventure

The WIP edition of Poodle Ride Adventure has been updated to version 0.9.9 to address bugs found in this game, new features, improvements, and other new features.

Highlights Of These Updates

  • Removed a buggy adventure path – this path is no longer featured because, this path is inconsistent with our project.
  • Replaced the adventure path with a tunnel to access the warp house.
  • Introduced an experimental emulated joystick system for keyboard users who use this feature to navigate in places via this game.
  • Introduced Dymond, Anninne-Amelia, and Abigail; the 3 new poodles to this game.
  • Added a storybook feature is still under heavy testing and development.
  • Moved the Soca Path to make room for other levels.
  • Fixed unnecessary arbitrary changes caused by AI Studio by Google itself.
  • Implemented standardization for petting poodles via interactions.
  • Set Abigail as a test character for this game.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Abigail’s elegant bark to be heard via a right speaker.
  • Added coin collection capability for this game.
  • Standardized “A”, “AA”, and “C” for standardizing presets when making development of new characters easy to o.
  • Deprecated toggling of turn notifications, now relies on cardinal directions like north, south, east, or west.
  • Added background logging (useful for reporting bugs).
  • Standardized elegant bark pitch, tone, timbre, and timing per each poodle.
  • Added new enemy characters who only use 2-D rendering to free up resources.
  • Updated sound system to address sound bugs.
  • Updated Anninne-Amelia’s tiara to have its diamond charm oriented vertically.
  • Removed buggy ramp systems to use teleportation systems that are simpler to use.
  • Removed automations that are dorment.
  • Amplified sounds for poodle’s elegant barks, petting sounds, grasping collars, and leaning forward/going back to upright position.

Future-Proofing

This game has been future-proofed as a way to stay ahead of new technologies for the future. All parts of this game are future-proofed as a way to ensure this game can withstand powerful computers.

This is a very important thing to do to ensure our craft goes forward.
