Embracing AI For Making Games For The Blind

So, I decided to experiment on using AI to make games by using AI tools with an ethical purpose. Well, I am capable of writing a gamebook in HTML, but I wanted to make game that uses an “audio-first”approach as a way to cater towards gamers without vision. However; using my scilled craftsmanship, and using AI to assist me of developing my game of dream. Even I use tech with a meaningful purpose; that enables me to develop games in a fly, and ensure botched development is kept at bay.

My Experience With Google AI Studio

I decided to try out Google AI Studio to make a game of my dream. That enables me to make my app, for the first time, and focus on making games. However; AI does make mistakes, and I ask AI to address these mistakes by typing responses that are extremely detailed. Botched file generations can lead to bugs, and other mistakes.

Normally, I write gamebooks for this website, and make my games supported by ads, and ensure content what I create is king. The less ads displayed, the better the experience for my players.

For the past 5 years or so; my efforts of making games has slowed down, and I have to deal with editing files in each folder, and using an FTP client to upload my entire gamebook. Even if I use AI tools today; I always use serious craftsmanship of developing software, and fix possible issues as I work with my creation.

Right now; I am making a game that focused on riding a white rabbit in a garden, and I am working with this project as my experiment. This is important to try out new products and services, and determine if this product or service is suitable for my projects.

I am aware of many games are developed by people who use their important minds. With AI tools; that will help me reduce the following:

  • Require some technical skills – All I have to do just promp an AI assistant to build a game for me, along with implementing a special system for blind gamers who wanted to get an experience of playing my games.
  • Implementing Folders – AI can help me generate folders for my game what I am making, and I don’t need to create these folders. However; refining is key to ensure these foldrs are labeled correctly. This is useful for maintenance.
  • Make background-mousic – I prompt AI to make background music for my games. Eight-bit sounding, and other formats are very important.
  • Make Sound Effects – Using AI as a developer partner is ideal for making these sounds, and I send prompts to ensure I get this opportunity of making a game without breaking the bank, and reduce the burden of hiring a visual person. However; AI is NOT a substitute of hiring people who you trust. That’s why using AI is intended as a assistant.

What I’ll Do When I Successfully Used AI Studio For Making Games

If I managed to make a successful game; after I’ve tested it out… I can update this website to have real games to play. However; I still need to ensure I type up my content as a way to ensure AI can do the hard part. I type up my work as a way to rely on heavy craftsmanship.

Using this tool will enable me to make a game in a fly, and reduce time and effort. If I want to add features; I ask AI to update the game, and ensure the game is free of bugs, and free of mistakes. If a mistake is made; I carefully address these mistakes and bugs found. This is very important because, “Babylonian rush” is out of the question.

If needed; I can add support for game controllers and keep adding support for hardware, and ensure support for legacy hardware is supported as a way to support home-brew gaming, and other communities.

If successful; each game is going to have its own “donate” button via PayPal, or “LiberaPay” as a way to get support from our players who play our game. Or… we can continue updating each game to add support for custom-built arcade cabinets that support use of currency to pay to play a game,–just like typical machines at your local arcade.

Continuation of accessbility continues to be a priority. That means; gaming will be inclusive with careful steps being implemented, and relevant research.

Trivia

I am teaching and AI assistant to be remain “Babylon-free” as a way to keep “Babylonian” norms out.

When I use AI; I treat is as an ethical partner as a way to ensure proper use.

I’ve always write very long prompts as a way to send mass amounts of typed text what I craft with serious craftsmanship, the same way how I use Google Gemini!

I use the grid system to practice making a game. That way; I can master my skills of making computer games.
