RomUniverse Is No Longer On The Internet

So, I was recently checking the status of RomUniverse, a place where pirated games are once hosted. Mathew Storman… who ran this website has been ordered to remove or destroy ALL of these Unauthorized copies of Nintendo’s work, such as: games, books, movies, TV programs, music, and other types of work. Also, what I’ve learned from Mathew’s bad choice; he did NOT obtain licensing from Nintendo and other companies, or made his own games from scratch. Despite being some sort of a software developer of some kind; he made one bad choice by NOT making his own games from scratch, or develop his own gaming console. This is one example of being lazy when creating interesting and unique content.

Now, RomUniverse is gone! But Mathew Storman isn’t able to run the another website. If he did, and he want to host games to play; he must make his own games, or obtain licensing from other developers (except for Nintendo). I prefer to make my own games, or find an open-source game to remix,–after checking licensing associated with an open-source game.

The Attack Of The Chinese Pirates Who Pirate Your Games

Unfortunately, Chinese knockoffs are the known issue to our gaming community. Not just these knockoffs hurt the revenue of publishers and companies who produce games for us to play, that can also cause independent game developers to experience theft of intellectual property each day. The CCP often has no regard for our intellectual property. Nintendo, PlayStation, XBOX, and other companies who publish games for us to play often experience illegal sales of knockoff consoles and games. Despite sanctions of China… causing them to be banned from our computer chip industry. China often go around this restriction. Well, we’re NOT saying people in China don’t have any experience of coding their own games from scratch! There are plenty of people who code their own games around the world.

Well, being a game developer is usually my dream what I am trying to reach, but I am still experimenting on making games from scratch with easier ways to make a game from scratch… however; having your IP pirated can be a problem for me, and that can be a major issue for me.

If China is completely removed from our computer chip industry, that will take time for China to build their own computer chip, not take our IP from other chip makers who make these computer chips for us to rely on.

However; on the next few minutes, we’re going to use our imagination and take an open-eye journey inside these places where Chinese pirates manufacture with sweat shop labor, and and these places what you’ve never seen before,–revealing how games what we play make a journey from studio to your console, or computer!

Don’t Be This Pirate… Gary Bowser!

Okay, I mentioned about Mathew Storman, a guy who runs Rom Universe, and he still has Nintendo’s content on his website, and I predicted Nintendo will seize his domain as a way to force him out of business, pirating their games. However; Gary Bowser is now in prison, but as I predicted within after his prison sentence, he won’t be able to publish his games to Nintendo, nor other platforms.

Despite Nintendo Ordered Mathew Storman To Remove All Of Nintendo’s Work From His Server And Shut down Rom Universe… His Site Is Still Standing With Illegal Items Intact!

Although; I was inspired by Nintendo’s effort to shutdown this website, and I called them about an update for their content still on Mathew’s server. I gave them a call, and I waited for days, or even months for Nintendo to take further action. Despite me, practicing making my own games with various techniques… I am still aware of losses what Nintendo has experienced financially. Well, this is what happens if you don’t have some of your games what you’ve made be distributed to public libraries. If Nintendo distribute their games to public libraries in the first place, that should’ve soften the blow to their revenue, and help midigate losses with this strategy. Public libraries play a key role for people who don’t have money to own any game on cartridges or discs. Well, this is my preferred way to help midigate the burden of relying on people using payment cards to purchase my games what I make. Well, we are focusing on an update to an illegal ROM site what Mathew Storman is still running.

The Attack Of The Russian Pirates After Sanctions

Many game developers may experience issues when piracy has been legallized in Russia,–after sanctions has struck Russia hard. Well, me as a gamebook developer myself has to be extra careful when I write gamebooks from scratch, or rely on software that enables me to write gamebooks with ease. However; many of these game publishers may experience endless losses, causing them to experience financial difficulties,–just like me who is experiencing this difficulty.

Although; relying on DRM doesn’t just cause issues with some hardware, that also pollutes our environment. DRM costs more!

So, your company bragged about a new console taking off in the market, and your company renders other consoles obsolete,–causing electronic waste, and more people to buy new tech. However; continuing to sell older consoles, or revive previous versions of these game consoles with native hardware,–or porting to PCs as an alternative option is key to enable your company to reach more platforms. For this instance, your text-adventure games what you developed are mainly designed for either PlayStation… well, I am familiar with this console,–after Nintendo, and Sega.

A Message To Mathew Storman: Never Pirate Nintendo’s Work! Make Your Own Games Instead

Although; Nintendo has won a lawsuit against Mathew Storman, and he’s ordered to remove all of Nintendo’s work from his website, and he faced an injunction. Although; Mathew doesn’t have any employment like working at any place to work at,–except for Nintendo. Although; pirating anyone’s work is NOT a good idea. I think Mathew is too lazy to make his own games from scratch. However; he stole Nintendo’s games and other work. Despite me… a fan of Nintendo myself; I wouldn’t do the same what Mathew does.
